Inclusion and SEND at Brigstock
At Brigstock Latham’s CE Primary School, we value each and every one of our children as they are all unique and demonstrate their strengths in a variety of ways. We firmly believe in delivering a curriculum that includes all our children, regardless of their needs. We aim to make our provision as child-centred as possible and have highly trained staff who are well equipped to personalise learning to every individual pupil.
Special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) can affect a child or young person’s ability to learn. They can affect their:
- behaviour or ability to socialise
- reading and writing
- ability to understand things
- concentration levels
- physical ability
If you think your child may have special educational needs, or would like to discuss the SEN provision at our school then please contact Mrs Freeman, our SENCo, via the School Office on 01536 373282 or kfreeman@brigstocklathams.co.uk
The inclusion link governor, incorporating SEND is Mrs Abigail Marsden-Findlay.
Further information about the SEN provision at Brigstock can be found in our SEN Policy and SEN Information Report. Printed copies of these are available on request from the School Office.
